HTML Color Names
HTML provides option for users to give colours to there web pages by using properties such as color, background-color. HTML support about 140 colour names. Out of 140 colours 17 are from html specification and 123 are from css specification.
17 colors in HTML specification are:
aqua, black, blue, fuchsia, gray, green, lime, maroon, navy, olive, orange, purple, red, silver, teal, white, and yellow.
HTML COLOR VALUES
HTML colors can be defined by using hexadecimal values also.Colors in html are defined mainly using 3 colors Red, green and blue. The lowest value of each color is 0(00 in hex) and highest value is 255(#ff) . Hex values are written with a # in the beginning followed by hex characters.
#FF0000-Red
#00FF00-Green
#0000FF-Blue.
